- Based on Executive Order D 2020 038 the Director of the Division of Professions and Occupations has been granted the authority to promulgate emergency rules for multiple professions to expand the workforce personnel available to provide healthcare services due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in Colorado.
- August 28, 2020: SB20-212 was passed by the Colorado Legislature and signed into law by Governor Polis in July 2020. In light of the increased interest in and use of telehealth services during the COVID-19 pandemic, this law facilitates access to telehealth services by restricting what limitations can be put into place by health insurance companies.
